No cooking
about 30 balls, depending on size
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup almond butter,raw or roasted. May use peanut butter.
2 tbsp honey, or grade b maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup cacao powder or cocao (optional)
Combine all ingredients except the cocao in a bowl, stir until well combined. You can use an immersion blender.
Roll dough into balls. Refrigerate until firm, at least an hour. They are better if they are refrigerated at least overnite.
If using cocao powder, roll balls in powder. (I like this, but it is messy).
Store bites in freezer for up to 3 months.
