Stir frying


Prep Time

15-20 minutes, depending on how many veggies you are chopping

Prep Notes

Stir fry can be done with any ingredients you choose.     You could use chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, or tofu for the main protein item.

Peppers, onions, carrots, squash, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, mushrooms, and broccoli are all great in stir fries.   Stir fry makes a

great dinner or lunch meal.

10-15 minutes or less

Ingredients

Chicken, beef, pork.  Cooked a sliced in thin strips.


other protein such as tofu, shrimp

vegetables, sliced;    consider including broccoli, asparagus, peppers, squash, mushrooms, carrots, and onions.  


Soy sauce to taste.  start with 1 tbsp.


Sesame seeds, peanuts, sunflower nuts, etc.   any type of nut makes a nice addition to a stir fry

Directions

Slice all the ingredients.   If the meat or chicken is not already cooked, cook before adding the vegetables.  

Put 2 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil in the frying pan and heat.    Add meat/chicken and cook if not already cooked.  

add the vegetables and cook until they are slightly soft.  do not overcook! 

add the soy sauce to taste.
